Arthur Award: Lt David Munro, post 481

As you all remember, a few months ago I started the Arthur Award for crewmembers who demonstrate conspicuous bravery/gallantry.  Well, in a post sent in at the very last moment, Lt David Munro single handedly engaged a Borg drone (one of our own crew) and saved the bridge staff from being assimilated.  Good job, Munro, and congratulations.

Best Character Post- Yahoo! Groups : uss-excalibur Messages : Message 6104 of 6144 This award goes to our Dr. Sage.  He has always showed different aspects of his character but in this post he shows his weak side.  He goes to Tenforward and starts to drink over what every man in the Universe does a Woman.  I enjoyed this post and know our dear Dr. will find love one day.  That he does have the eye of most of the ladies on the ship.  Nice post Dr.

 

Best Story Post -Yahoo! Groups : uss-excalibur Messages : Message 6015 of 6144 This award goes to Cmdr. Ingoldo.  This post was outstanding in getting all parts of the mission in action.  He took over command of the ship when his Captain was taken hostage.  He kept the storyline on the planet active and helped all know what the status was down there.  This was a well written and detailed post.  Great Job Number One. 

 

Funniest Post- Yahoo! Groups : uss-excalibur Messages : Message 5974 of 6144 This award goes to Ensign Galler. This post was so funny when she bumped into our now infamous Dr. She writes on how she thinks he is cute and in this she stumbles threw her words.  I was torn on having this post up for best character development or funniest and hands down this was one funny post.  Congrats Ensign.

 

Most Valuable Player- This award goes to Cmdr. Ingoldo.  I have given him this award many times before because he has been here for me.  This award isn't for his writing, this award isn't for his leadership.  This award is for his loyalty to this ship and its crew and Captain.  Cmdr. Ingoldo has stuck with this ship when we only had 25 post and sliding.  Cmdr. Ingoldo has listened to me say I quit... I cant go on anymore.  I cant get new people I cant... I cant, and he would calmly say to me.  Captain... Alayne ... its ok.  We can start over you are doing a great job.  Things will pick up.  Number One you are the MVP!  Thanks for sticking with the Excalibur. 

Most Improved Player-This award goes to Ensign Irahny.  When this person joined the Excalibur it was hard in the beginning.  Now She is active and writing with confidence on her character.  I see our new Lt. (jg) being a very interesting part of this crew.  Good work Lt.(jg) Irahny.

Most Posts- We have a tie this month on most posts.  Cmdr. Ingoldo and Lt. Kateri both have 16 posts
 

Rookie of the Month- This award goes to Ensign Galler.  She joined this ship and jumped right in to SIMMing  She has shown other new crew that's its ok to be funny and open about your character.  Great Job Ensign. 

Recruitment Award- None one again has won this award even though we have 3 new players this month.  One is a return player with a new character.  Ensign S'Boath.  One found us threw the web, Ensign Galler and one threw recruitment's from the fleet, Ensign Sadeen. 

Genesis Award: Goes to Lt. (jg) Arett.  He started an outstanding mission with many different avenues to go.  This wasn't a linear mission.  It was open to many different lines.  Good work Lt. (jg) 

Best Joint Post-Now I know this isn't a Fleet award, but we had a few great JP's so I thought I would acknowledge one of them.  Yahoo! Rookie of the Month – Ensign Marc “The Maverick” Magal.
Marc joined right before we started our mission and has assimilated himself into our crew well. He’s taken his character and jumped right into the action. Welcome aboard Marc.

Most improved character – Ensign Aly Artemi
Ensign Artemi has always been one of our stronger posters, however she put in an awesome month this June. She not only posted three times what she did last month, but she has also branched out and begun to interact with more of the crews.

MVP – Ensign Aly Artemi
Aly has been a force this month posting almost as much as the next two highest characters combined. She’s shown us her excellent control of CD again this month and she’s reached out to characters on the Goliad during the joint mission. She also helps keep the ship from getting too serious and adding a little levity. I mean who doesn’t get a kick out of “accidentally” transporting all the clothes off the captain? I’m glad to have Aly as a part of my crew.
